Starter #1 Take out your comp book. Turn to the first blank page. In the upper right hand corner, write the following: Mon., Oct. 8, QW #20: I’m Invisible! Then copy the bold print portion of this prompt on the top lines: If you could be invisible for one whole day, what would you do? Describe what would happen. Remember to write in complete sentences, avoiding fragments and run-ons. If you are not sure how to spell a certain word, just sound it out and circle it.

Outcomes: Be able to . . . Define “noun” and name the two basic kinds of nouns. Define and identify “common nouns.” Define and identify “proper nouns.” Apply capital letters correctly in sentences containing proper nouns.
