3 Dear Parents, My name is Megan Udall and I will be your child’s basic English Language Arts teacher for the school year. I am very excited to be with Baines Middle School and to provide a fun, challenging year for your student. I want this year to be built on relationships and cooperation to ensure your child meets and exceeds all of his/her goals. Please feel free to call, , or set up a conference if questions arise throughout the year. A little about me – I received my BA from Texas A&M and MA from St. Mary’s University. This will be my 9th year in education, and 5th year at BMS. In my spare time I love to bake, travel, and hang out with my two year old son, Gregory. I love Diet Coke, peanut butter M&Ms, and Mexican food. I cannot live without HGTV and the Food Network. My teams are the Astros and Texans. Finally, I’m a die-hard Aggie fan! In the coming weeks, look for handouts that will explain some procedures and classroom management programs that will be implemented in my classroom. I look forward to working with you on ensuring your child is receiving the best fit educational setting to excel in his/her goals. My conference time is during 5th period, but I am more than willing to come before, or stay after school to meet with you. Thank you for your dedication to your student! Kind regards, Megan Udall 6th Grade Basic ELA Baines Middle School -Room 1117
