Agenda Introduction About Accenture & Consulting
The Consulting Analyst Characteristics & What We Look For I’ll begin with an overview of Accenture – our business, industries and culture that makes us who we are – as well as what consulting is in general. Then I’ll describe the role of the consulting analyst and try to depict a day in the life for you. I’ll give you an idea of the continuous training and learning that is part if our everyday environment. After that, we will take a look at some of the characteristics we are looking for in an analyst and some that you may be seeking in a company to make sure it is a good fit. I will also go into a little more detail on what we are particularly seeking in our consulting analysts. TURN SLIDE

The Consulting Analyst
Roles and responsibilities: Build industry skills Develop technology-based solutions Analyze, design and implement business process improvements Define user requirements Gain and specialize skills in: business process design business validation concepts testing and quality assurance system building concepts programming and development So how does the consulting entry-level analyst fit in? Consulting analysts usually work on one client engagement at a time right at the client site, alongside other people at their organization. The team size varies based on the project but traditionally consists of a client Partner lead and other consultant/manager level people. Responsibilities can vary across client engagements. On any given day, an analyst may expect to build and leverage skills like those seen on this slide. Point out We don’t require that individuals have technical experience, but an interest. Our training will help them get up to speed. Technical skills are truly the building block in an analyst’s career development. They need to have a solid understanding of how a system is constructed, right down to the programming and coding. This is turn significantly helps them down the road in doing a better job designing a system and then, ultimately, actually managing the development of a system. So, these technical skills are nurtured in your first few years and will provide a solid platform for future performance and development. TURN SLIDE

New Employee Orientation Core Analyst Program Local St. Charles Continuous Training Centralized Local Courses Computer-based On-the-job experience Accenture sells the knowledge, the know-how, and the expertise of its people to its clients. Therefore, it is vital that our people are equipped with the latest and greatest technologies and industry developments, which is supported by ongoing training throughout your career. Training equips Accenture people with the tools and skills that will enable them to grow personally and professionally. (New analyst training is done in teams) The Core Analyst Program helps our people develop the skills required to make successful contributions throughout their career. These core skills cross industry segments and service areas have a focus on business skills, leadership and personal development, systems delivery fundamentals and client service skills. During an analyst’s first several weeks, they complete New Employee Orientation and the Core Analyst Local course. This course is the first in a curriculum designed to provide the support necessary for success in our company, particularly on your first engagements. Upon completion, you are then scheduled to attend the Core Analyst School at the Center for Professional Education in St. Charles, Illinois. This course is designed to simulate a client engagement. Our people enjoy going to St. Charles because they meet Accenture people from all over the world. As part of all continuous training throughout a career at Accenture, training can be done both in-person or virtually. TURN SLIDE
