1 popsicle stick
4 cups of baking soda
2 cups of table salt
Large zip-lock plastic bag
Cut the entire skin off of your apple (Ask for help if you need to.)
For the FUN OF IT – give your apply a name (Ex: King Tutankyle).
Write both your name and the name of your mummy on the stick.
** If the apple is NOT covered, add an additional: 1 cup of baking soda and ½ cup of salt.
Write in a new sentences what you observed and why you think that the ancient Egyptians might have used this process to preserve their dead.
