Galileo's telescope Galileo’s telescope was used in 1608 he saw things no one could ever imagine, he was the first to see the sunspots, Saturn's rings, and the four large moons of Jupiter.

Electromagnetic radiation/spectrum
This includes the entire range of radio waves, infrared waves, visible light, ultraviolet radiation, x-rays, and gamma rays.

Radio Telescope Most radio telescopes have curved reflecting surfaces up to 305 meters in diameter.

X-ray/ Chandra Telescope
The Chandra x-ray images are much more detailed than thoughts of early x-ray telescopes.
