Recap Travel Buddy is a cell-phone application targeted at people who frequently travel internationally. It can quickly make basic conversions such as distance, speed, and weight. Travel Buddy also has an advanced feature that provides local information about popular cities.

IOC-Software Preparation
Operational Software: Installs on the cell phone Offers basic conversions, translator, currency translations, and local information. Support Software Travel Buddy requires a variety of support software such as: J2ME, Apache Ant, PostgreSQL, Weather.com, etc…

IOC-Software Preparation
Testing Readiness Test plan has been executed and completed. Testing is complete. Major (and some minor) bugs that affect performance of product have been identified and solved. Automation used to locate servlet bugs.

IOC-Site Preparation Setup:
Release notes (specifically, the MIDlet release notes) document the necessary steps to install Travel Buddy. There will be a website where customers could go to download the Travel Buddy software on their cell phones. This assumes they have cell phones that are properly configured to handle Travel Buddy software.

IOC-People Preparation
Training will be provided for service providers so they can answer questions from consumers. Servlet Technician: Servlet must be monitored daily to verify service availability. Travel Buddy website should contain contact information to report connectivity issues.

Final Release-Known Risks
Tomcat could crash. The webpage we access for weather, currency or time might not work all the time. We have no control over those sites.
