1 Project #5: Generating Privacy and Security Threat Summary for Internet of Things REU Student: Ray Yan Graduate mentors: Logan Lebanoff Faculty Mentor(s): Dr. Fei Liu Week 4 (June 12 – June 16, 2016) Accomplishments: Started working on statistical analysis code for the Amazon Mechanical Turk sorted data Worked on finding a sufficient inter-rater reliability metric to determine if the human-done ratings have sufficiently good correlation and aren’t just comparable to a random number generator Studied Convolutional Networks in weekly session with Fei Liu and other graduate students Plans for next week: Keep working with graduate mentor to find a way to measure the reliability of the relatively disparate ratings done by human workers Continue working on python code NSF REU Research Experience on Internet of Things 2017
