3. Barriers
Barriers- specific items that can distort or prevent communication within an organization.

Tell them words, and even nonverbal cues can be misconstrued and miscommunication takes place.

If you have a problem or concern it’s important to make it known to the group in order to keep communication open.

7. Communication Discussion
Why is understanding all kinds of communication (verbal, written and nonverbal) important for you to be aware of as a leader?
What do you feel you can do to improve your communication style to make it more assertive and what steps will you take to accomplish this?
Are there any disadvantages to poor communication? If so, what are they? How can this be changed?
Compromising and realizing that both sides CAN “win” is the best solution.
