Tap vocabulary Step: a walk on the ball of the foot
heel drop: lowering the heel with weight into the floor Toe to the back: a tap of the very tip of the toe with no weight Brush: a hit with the toe tap to the front Brush back: a hit with the toe tap to the side Shuffle: the combination of a brush with a back brush

Heel dig: digging the heel tap into the floor with no weight Stomp: stepping with the full foot flat on the floor Hop: jumping up on one foot and landing on the same foot (no weight transfer) Leap, change or jump: jumping up on one foot and landing on the opposite foot (with weight transfer) Flap: the combination of a brush with a step
