3. To ask what time is it, you say:
¿Qué hora es?

4. To ask “At what time is…” that certain event happening, you say
¿A qué hora es el/la____ ?

5. If the time is BIGGER than ONE (2, 3, 4…10, 11), you use:
Son las and then the time.
9 AM- Son las nueve
11 PM- Son las once

6. If the time is ONE (1) then you say:
Es la una and then the minutes.
1:00- Es la una.
1:10- Es la una y diez.

7. Instead of AM and PM you say:
De la mañana (before noon)
De la tarde (noon until 6 PM)
De la noche (after 6 PM)

8. :00 en punto :15 y cuarto :30 y media :45 menos cuarto
:00, :15, :30 and :45 minutes…..
:00 en punto

9. What about if it is not exactly 15 after?
The : in Spanish is y
8:20 would be- Son las ocho y veinte.
10:13 would be- Son las diez y trece.
