Undergraduates from four different HSI institutions’ USDA-NIFA HSI grant entitled ‘START NOW’ are led by TAMUK faculty and USDA-NRCS soil scientists and educate the importance of soil science and conservation Student Participants from: University of Texas-El Paso; University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez; Florida International University; and Texas A&M University-Kingsville Funded by USDA-NIFA Hispanic Serving Institution grant award # START NOW - Student Training in Agricultural Research Techniques by Novel Occupational Workshops.
