Departure Day – Arriving at school
Students arrive at 8:00 AM Pre-assign at least 4 luggage handlers Students with hard sided luggage take their luggage, including sleeping bags, to the trailer Students with soft luggage take their luggage to the Library (along the side if not raining) BE ON TIME! We will leave without you if you are not here and your parent will have to drive you out to the lunch meeting spot!

Departure Day – Arriving at school
Students go to sign-in table to check in and to medical table if they have prescription meds. Holding Tanks: Girls: Ms. Nefian, Boys: rm 6, Mrs. Denues and those staying rm 9, Ms. Lanovaz. During Holding Tank time, students use restroom Dismiss students to load that bus at 9:00 AM. DEPART! BE ON TIME! We will leave without you if you are not here and your parent will have to drive you out to the lunch meeting spot!

Departure Day – Getting on the bus
Necessary for the bus: Plastic Ziploc bag for your electronics with your name on it. Boots on Day pack w/ lunch

Lunch in Los Banos 11:30 AM pit stop Potty break Light lunch

Arrival at Curry Village
3:00 / 3:30 PM Arrival Wait on bus until instructed to offload Pull out all luggage and set on tarp Receive Orientation Get keys to cabins Find cabin and get ready for dinner 5:00 Dinner 6:30 Meet hiking group for evening program 9:00 Ready for bed and next day 10:00 Lights out

Consequences for Misconduct
Bad Behavior Possible Consequence Poor attitude, not listening, chatting over others, not showing up on time, going somewhere without a buddy, behaving in a way that endangers yourself or others Bussing tables during meals Trash patrol, cabin/bus cleanup Calling home Noisy cabins at bed time, not going to bed when told to, keeping others from sleeping Bedtime enforced earlier for your cabin Any repetition of the above bad behaviors Lose electronics privileges on the way home Get sent home

BE SURE TO PACK THE FOLLOWING:
Lunch for our pit stop An alarm clock – one or two per cabin With you for all hikes: A wrist watch if you have one – very helpful! Layers – hat, sweater, jacket, gloves, etc. Ziploc bags + trash bag to sit on Two full water bottles Bandana/crumb catcher Extra socks

Packing for the weather
It looks like it will be dry during our visit, but it’s still good to pack rain gear because this is a very early forecast and we’ll never know! The weather will be mild, as low as 37 degrees but as high as 64. This means very cold mornings and very warm middays and afternoons (especially with all the hiking)! That means dress in layers – very important!
