Diamond Logic(R) Electrical System Driver Reward Parameters Worksheet ACCELERATOR CRUISE BOTH FUEL ECONOMY PERCENT IDLE TIME BOTH REWARD MODE PERFORMANCE CRITERIA VS LIMIT INCREMENT – EXCELLENT LEVEL FUEL ECONOMY – EXCELLENT LEVEL PERCENT IDLE TIME – EXCELLENT LEVEL VS LIMIT INCREMENT – GOOD LEVEL FUEL ECONOMY – GOOD LEVEL PERCENT IDLE TIME – GOOD LEVEL Drivers who achieve a minimum of the expected level of fuel economy can be awarded an increase in the vehicle speed or cruise control limit, or both. Drivers who exceed the value set for a good level of fuel economy can be given a higher increase, and drivers above the excellent level can be given an even higher allowance. On the other end of the spectrum, drivers who do not meet the expected fuel economy performance level can be penalized with a lower vehicle speed limit. Note that the rewards are not cumulative. The excellent level reward is the most that a driver can achieve. A driver does not get the expected level PLUS the good level PLUS the excellent level. Also, remember rewards can be based on achievement in either fuel economy or idle time, or both. When both criteria are being used, the rewards are averaged. A driver meeting the good standard in fuel economy and the excellent standard in idle time will be awarded the average of the the excellent and good standard rewards.
