Matter includes both helpful and harmful solids, liquids and gases. Example 1 O2 gas is needed by all plants and animals to survive but, NO2 (nitrogen dioxide) from car exhaust is poisonous

Example 2 Among liquids, water is essential for human survival, but sulfuric acid can cause serious burns if it comes in contacts the skin. Brain POP- Water
