3. Management is refers to Getting things done through others.
Management as the process of coordinating and integrating work activities so that they are completed efficiently and effectively with and through other people.
Manager
A person who practices the functions to achieve management’s objectives.

In this chapter, you'll explore the four basic functions of management—planning, organizing, leading, and controlling.
