4 In your groups read Genesis 3

5 Genesis 3 In your groups discuss, then decide on a group answer to the following question: What is sin?

9 Poster In your groups create a poster about the consequences of sin: suffering, alienation and death. Your poster must include the consequences of sin from the story and some modern examples for each consequence e.g. physical suffering

Put simply… Redemption: means to pay debt that is owed Atonement: is to do something in order to make up for something wrong that’s been done Salvation: is to be saved from something.

18 In groups… Using your ‘consequences of sin posters’ identify the need for Atonement in today’s world and highlight the things we need to be saved from.
