2 The Combined Gas Law Boyle’s law shows the relationship between pressure and volume. At constant temperature. Charles’s law shows the relationship between volume and absolute temperature. At constant pressure. The two laws can be combined together to give a law that predicts what happens to the volume of a sample of gas when both the pressure and temperature change. As long as the amount of gas stays constant.
