All admitted students are fully supported for 5 years of study.
All graduate students TA 5 quarter-length courses (starting in the second year).
All students take a core course in each of the five areas, as well as graduate-level statistics.
Research skills, research presentation skills, teaching, and citizenship are all important aspects of graduate training in the department.
