What does it mean to be a teenager of high value?
In order to attract extraordinary people, we have to be extraordinary. And we have to be extraordinary not only for others, we have to do it for ourselves. -Matthey Hussey “We are what we repeatedly do.” -Aristotle If we want to embody and exhibit our best qualities, we have to be living them.

What does this mean to you?
SELF- CONFIDENCE What does this mean to you?

Self- confidence is… Certainty…the state of feeling certain about the truth of something and a high-value teenager is confident about his/her worth. Know your abilities, your appeal, and certain about what you deserve. Never settling for less than your highest standards. Never seeking approval. If you are not getting what you want or need from a relationship, you are able to walk away knowing that union is not right for you. Not to be mistaken for arrogance or full of self- importance.

INDEPENDANCE What does this mean to you?

Independence is… …self-determination. Being engaged in meaningful activities that you are passionate about everyday. Surrounding yourself with people who reinforce your values and confidence. Understanding that a partner is not to fulfill a void. You do not NEED anyone, the person you find is the person you CHOOSE and WANT to be with. “I am a complete person without you, but I desire to have you be a part of my life because you are worth of it.”

INTEGRITY What does this mean to you?

INTEGRITY is… Consistency…A person who sticks to their principles. This establishes trust. Sticking to your values and not changing them to seek approval Knowing your standards and being comfortable with them. Being loyal to your friends, not being critical of others, refraining from gossip.

VULNERABLITY What does this mean to you?

VULNERABLITY is… …allowing yourself to become alive to your most authentic self. Be real Act with no guarantees Ask for help Get rejected Embrace negative emotions When we numb sadness and pain, we numb joy and happiness.
