1 Order of Adjectives More than one adjective can be used to describe a noun. The adjectives must go in a certain order: Opinion – size – age – shape – color - material He was drinking juice in a nice, small, old, round, white, plastic cup.

2 Order of Adjectives Order: Opinion – size – age – shape – color - material However: It is a good idea not to use more than three (3) adjectives to describe a noun. For example: Opinion – age – color He was wearing a nice, new, white lab coat.
