Self-Reflection Assignment
In the time that you have remaining in class, you may write as much or as little as you like. However, I will be collecting these and evaluating them based on your depth of thought. I expect a well-developed thought process and complete ideas expressed in your writing. I also expect an attempt at an organized process of writing down your thoughts; however, it is your thoughts that I am most interested in. Self-Reflection Assignment

“So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for adventure” (57). Do you agree or disagree with this quote from the book? Why or why not? Write about the relationship between adventure and comfort: How does being comfortable and happy affect one’s desire to be adventurous or to take risks? Use examples to support your points.
