AGPL it is a free software License or a variation of the GPL License
the purpose of the AGPL is to prevent a problem that affects developers of free programs that are often used on servers the clause "Remote Network interaction" obliges those who use web based-services on opensource software, to share the software excuted via remote control. the source code, if modified, is to be made available to whoever utilizes the work on the web. the code to be provided is not only the one covered by the AGPL but it includes all the modules it utilizes (excluded of course the system libraries). As almost all the licenses, the AGPL prohibit the removal of license itself. The AGPL is not GPL v2 compatible because section 13 can be classified among “added restictions" provided by the old version of the GPL. is though fully compatible with GPL v3 thanks to a section that was inserted within on purpose
