2. The process
State CTE department schedules dates for Program Approval visits based on a 6-year rotation.
State CTE coordinator meets with the LEA (Local Education Agency) CTE director to discuss details and provide documents.
Specialists set program visit times with teachers.
Specialists write up formal program evaluations and submit them to the State CTE coordinator.

3. The process
State CTE coordinator submits program approval reports to the LEA CTE director
LEA CTE director submits District Improvement Plan in response to the program approval reports.
Items that receive a 1 or 2 need to be addressed in the response.
Specialists follow up with teachers to see if items that received a 1 or 2 have been addressed.
State CTE coordinator follows up with LEA CTE director concerning items that still need to be addressed.
