BEBRAS Computational Thinking Challenge
NOVEMBER 2018 Why should you take part? You will get a certificate with your score Top achievers will obtain a certificate of distinction There is a certificate for best in school in each age category There will be the chance to win a place in the Hall of Fame for the top students in each age category and you may go through to the UK finals! In addition you may discover you have a talent you did not realise you possessed! Year 7 & 8 will take part in Computing lessons. If you are in year 9, 10 or 11 and you are interested please see/ Miss Watts to sign up or for more info! Example question: Frog Jump A frog gets exercise by jumping around a pond. E-safety Champions Assist students & teachers with e-safety problems
Promote good e-safety practice across the school Promote e-safety across all subjects Present e-safety information in assemblies Work with form groups and tutors to deliver e-safety information See Miss Watts in C6 if you are interested in becoming an E-safety Champion! (Year 9 and above)

Thursday After School in B11
Acorn Village Run by student digital leaders for Adults with learning difficulties from Acorn Village in Mistley. Students plan and deliver activities using ICT in a social setting. We visit Acorn Village at least once a year where we are shown round the facility and our students help residents present the work they do at EBHS. To take part in the club please see Mrs Lynch for further details. Students in years 8 upward are welcome to apply. Thursday After School in B11
