24 credits: 4.0 credits English 3.0 credits Math Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II (or approved alternate) 3.0 credits Science Physical Science, Biology, and Science elective 3.0 credits Social Studies 1.0 World Studies, 1.0 American Studies II, 0.5 Civics and .5 CWP 0.5 credit Health 1.5 credit Fitness (1.0 possible PPR) 1.0 credits Occupational Education 2.0 credit Fine Arts (1.0 possible PPR) 2.0 World Language (2.0 possible PPR) 4.0 credits Elective Classes

6 College Ready : Preparing for Technical, 2 year, or 4 year colleges
SAT/ACT only required for Four year institutions Placement Test – Technical and community colleges However: if you plan to transfer to a 4 year college within the year, they may request SAT/ACT scores and HS transcript. Reminders: - Stay organized – Be mindful of deadline for financial aid and applications - Send completed documentation as you get it - Complete FAFSA for any school

Requirements for admission: Math through Algebra II plus senior year math. Chemistry highly recommended 2.0 credits sequential world language SAT or ACT scores Competitive Transcript Strength Community service and school involvement

What does this mean for students who have NOT MET standard? State Approved Alternative Options: Have you taken the SAT or ACT? Bring your scores to Mrs. Reed Have you taken AP Exams? Have you taken a college level English or Math class (100 or above) Retest this year

Retake Dates: October 29th – November 9th Check the list of names and dates posted outside Student Services

12 High School & Beyond Graduation Requirement
High School & Beyond Plan Professional Resume 20-Hours Community Experience Senior Boards Conference

13 High School & Beyond Plan and Resume
Students will update and complete the High School & Beyond Plan beginning in 8th grade At PHS, students will work on their HSBP in Homeroom and have access to documents through Schoology Students will create a professional resume as part of their HSBP

14 Community Experience Students are required to complete 20-hours of community experience as part of their High School & Beyond Plan graduation requirement. Students may use hours documented from 7th - 12th grades. Hours are due January 31st of the senior year. Community Experience Log and submission is available through Schoology.  Each class has a designated Schoology course with all HSBP documents and information. Puyallup School District website is being updated and will also have all documents and resources.

15 Class of 2019 Senior Board Conferences
March 6th & 7th, 2019 Seniors who have submitted their Community Experience Log will be scheduled for individual conferences. Parents are welcome to attend.   Seniors will present their High School & Beyond Plan, professional resume and Community Experience.  Professional dress is expected for all students. Seniors will have opportunity to attend  resume workshops and receive additional information through Homeroom.  Individual assistance is also available to complete this graduation requirement.
