3. Rejection vote A rejection is currently planned for the 11 October
Arguments:
Existence of data (police records) 
But: not all victim crimes are reported/recorded
police records lack comparability across EU
No added value at EU level
But: value has been emphasized in The Hague and Stockholm programmes data on victims requested by the EP itself, in the victim's support directive
Cost
Some issues about methodology (sample, precision, subjectivity, relevance of some items)
Concerns on confidentiality
Only a strong political demand emphasizing the importance of SASU could change the situation
