Over the last four weeks you have been considering culture –your personal culture, the culture of the place you live, why it is important to learn about other cultures and how you can learn about culture through reading. Today, we are going to look at how films and TV can broaden your cultural knowledge. Can you think of how films or TV could improve your cultural knowledge? What could you learn from a film or TV show?

Task: in pairs Come up with a list of films or TV shows that you have seen or that you have heard of that you think deal with an aspect of culture. It could be a film you have watched at home or perhaps something you have been shown in lessons.
