Although opposition did exist it was not unified, its leaders were locked up and propaganda had made them into enemies
Youth groups opposed the regime more in war time and people did not really react before
The Church tried to speak out against the Jewish question and euthanasia but its leaders were heavily censured
Third Reich held authority, army support and controlled the press – only in occupied territories was opposition more likely.
