In the 1920s women started to rebel against society to gain intellectual independence Trying to transition from old domestic ways of women Some ways they rebelled were using profanity in public and smoking

Americans kept children in schools because they didnt depend on their wages like before College numbers increased New schools were built with huge gyms and laboratories
