Visual Representation and Reflection

2. Graphic Novel
Step 1: plan your storyline. It must be a sound conclusion to the novel.
Step 2: plan your panels. Make sure you can fit all elements of your storyline onto one double page spread.
Step 3: design and create your double page. This may be on the computer, hand-drawn or a collage of drawing and printed images. *You can only print images that is your own work.

3. Graphic Novel Important Notes
Only what is on the double page spread will be marked.
The task must be presented on an A3 paper that is folded in half or 2 A4 sheets stuck together.

5. Progress Record
Your progress record must be completed on the given sheet.
In the first column, record the date you worked on the project.
In the second column, record what you did. This should include:
challenges faced and how you overcame them
the methods and process you used

I finished reading the novel and I started planning my story line on a story graph.

I began planning what will go into each panel of my double page. Challenge – I had to make sure that the story fit into my panels so I needed to keep adjusting the panels.

Began drawing the first panel. Challenge – make sure the background was clear so the reader
