2. Second Homework
Take a series of portrait photographs exploring ways of framing the face:
Use cut paper stencils to frame sections of the face, use whole faces, or facial features cut out of magazines to cover parts of the face.
Photographing the face from a variety of angles including very high and very low viewpoints. Use windows, doorways, or mirrors to frame some or all of the face.
Conceal part of the face with a mobile phone (with an image displayed on the screen).
Experiment with a hairdryer to blow hair across the face.
Use hands to frame or partly cover the face.
Try photographing two people together, with one person’s face in front of the other.
