Desperate Dolphins Written & Edited Illustrated by Corbin

2 introduction Dolphins are the most intelligent of sea animals. Do people love endangered animals like the dolphins? What if the dolphins disappeared? What would happen then, too much fish? No more sea animals? Lets try to save them together!

3 Adaptations A dolphin can detect the size, direction, speed and distance of objects in the water. They make noises like squeaking, also dolphins can make two noises at a time. (As you heard in my last page). Another reason dolphins are amazing is because they can imitate humans. They can also learn simple commands.

4 Depend upon Dolphins depend upon stronger dolphins to protect them when they are threatened. A baby dolphin has a very close connection with it’s mother. A baby dolphin lives with it’s mother for seven years! Imagine that living with your mom for seven years.

5 Food chain Dolphins work as a team to catch fish for the pod.
Killer whales (which are actually dolphins) eat other dolphins. Sharks eat dolphins too.

6 Why dolphins are endangered
Dolphins are harmed by pollution, ship propellers, power plants, drowned by gill nets and island hunts.

7 How we can save them One way we can help save the dolphins is to make clean energy farms. Not pollute as much as we do now which is a lot believe . And last but not least a major one move power plants that leak oil and other bad stuff into the water.

8 Conclusion I hope you learned a lot about dolphins, if you liked it tell your friends and family.
