DNA replication DNA unwinds
One half of the DNA works as a template a new half to form (semi-conservative). Matching base pairs are brought in by DNA polymerase, starting at the codon ATG. Base pairs are matched until a stop codon is reached.(TGA, TAA, or TAG)
