1st Marking Period counts twice (40%) and 2nd Marking Period counts twice (40%)
Everything is worth points (projects, participation, discussions, quizzes, tests)
Total points earned / total points for the quarter

Discussion (attendance in class is a must!!!)

My goal is to provide information for the future voters on current topics that will effect our country.
I would like the students to develop an opinion on the issues, the political parties, and candidates.

The class will also learn how the different levels of government interact.
Also, the students will learn the roles and job that each branch of government has.
