TASK: Using your homework, summarise who Northumberland is and why he is important when studying Edward VI’s reign in one sentence. After Somerset had fallen, Edward was still a minor and therefore could not rule alone. Northumberland had led the troops which defeated Kett’s rebellion and he had supporters in government.
