CAC2S Operational Impact:
The CAC2S, in conjunction with Marine Corps organic sensors and weapons systems, supports OMFTS and brings Marine aviation C2 fully on-line with other Joint C2 systems.
It will replace C2 systems in the TACC, TAOC, DASC, Marine Air Traffic Control Detachment, and LAAD Bn
ASPARCS supports SecDef and DC/A priorities for interoperability via the use of TADIL J, and deployability via reduced airlift required (3 vice 7 C-130s), and eliminating Material Handling Equipment.
