A preposition is a joining word that shows relationship between things in a sentence

6. Where is a preposition located in a sentence?
A preposition is a word that comes at the beginning of a short group of words called a prepositional phrase.
Prepositional phrases always follow the same pattern: they always begin with a preposition and end with a noun, an adjective + noun, or a pronoun
A preposition is never followed by a verb
