3. Grade 1 & 2 Formative Summative
Each curriculum standard should be assessed at least twice in each term
From October to December
By the end of the learning unit.
Each term includes two learning units: (Textbook units 1-3) + (Textbook units 4-5)
The total of 2 Assessments
Varied assessment tools to be used for assessment
All types of questions should be tackled
A scale of 4 points to be used while assessing each curriculum standard
A distractor should be added to the matching questions
All tasks, worksheets and quizzes should be kept in a student’s portfolio
The speaking skill should be assessed separately during the last two weeks of the learning unit (Flexible)
The listening skill should be assessed separately by the end of the learning unit
