EVALUATION PROCEDURE: SIMPLIFIED STAGE 1
Remote only About 750 experts, no final number yet but we aim for at least 40 % women and appropriate country and public/private balance Individual evaluation by five experts per proposal No consensus but median score per criterion Total score = median score criterion 1 + median score criterion 2 Standard sentences for ESRs of rejected proposals Invitation letter for full proposal without ESR to successful coordinators (as under FP7)

Feedback to successful coordinators/PC: Mid May Feedback to unsuccessful coordinators/PC: End May Presentation of results at next PC meeting (20 June)

SECOND STAGE EVALUATION
Evaluation stage 2: second half of August and September NEW as compared to FP7: Gender and sex differences need to be taken into account and properly addressed in the scientific part of the proposal and will be evaluated Higher emphasis on impact No grant negotiation: proposals need to be very good and present realistic budgets in relation to the work proposed
