It is noticeable that in-house services all currently employ co-mingled collection systems.

Kerbside sort and twin-stream systems tend to be weekly. There is a cluster of outsourced, weekly kerbside sort schemes within WLWA and a cluster of weekly, co-mingled schemes within the NLWA.

Weekly collections still dominate. Only 6 boroughs currently have fortnightly refuse collections. Most are outer-London. Within the most central London Boroughs, collections are more then weekly.

The picture becomes less clear when collection containers are added. Weekly sack collections are most prevalent in inner London Boroughs and within West London.
