2 Research questions How can communities become more empowered and vibrant in the next 10 years? How can communities identify and articulate issues and take collective action to address them over the next decade? What needs to happen to bring about empowered communities?

We want to open up a debate that: Tests assumptions Challenges norms Attracts new voices Creates new spaces Encourages action Leaves doors open In order to achieve this we will: Use methods that benefit participants Spend time in communities Use learning from the past to move forward Build in reflection, action and communication
