As a holiday spot for rich urbanites, Cornwell may look affluent. Having an abundant supply of money or possessions of value. Backers argued the project would bring much needed jobs to an impoverished part of town. Poor enough to need help from others.

3 Billow (verb) Menace (noun)
Boxcars erupted in flames and piled on top of each other as thick black smoke billowed high into the air. Rise and move, as in waves. Angry rabid dogs, smog clouds, and annoying little brothers are all probable menaces. Something that is a source of danger.

4 Inflammatory (adj.) Errant (adj.)
President Snow tried to use Katniss to put out the flames of rebellion, instead her every move become more inflammatory. Arousing to action or rebellion. The runner on third attempted to score the tying run on an errant pitch by the star reliever. Straying from the right course or from accepted standards.

5 Avid (adj.) Hallucination (noun)
James is an avid supporter of any organization that is trying to improve the environment. Enthusiastic; passionate. If you see Mr. Gibson morph into a dancing giraffe, chances are you’re having a hallucination. Illusory perception (seeing something that isn’t there).

6 Perpetrator(noun) Solace (verb)
The perpetrators stole her silverware, some jewelry, and her new computer. Someone who commits a crime. The family solaced each other with the knowledge she had fought her cancer. To comfort someone at a time of sadness, disappointment, or grief.
