8 Assessment requests Remember that clear, concise, and conscientious is easier for us to use than sarcastic, short or rambling responses Assessments are policy reviews and opinion gathering; separate and distinct from fiscal impact As usual, Anja and I will do our best to update bills in the system daily We will send out s to you when bills change significantly and bring your attention to elements that are potentially problematic/positive according to priorities established by State Relations/OPB We will also you directly if a bill is up for a hearing and we haven’t heard from you (the more we prioritize notifications, the less effective we’ll be in summarizing legislation for you!) Please use the My Billtracker feature to track bills as they move through committee/floor/other chamber

9 We will also post to our blog and website: OPBlog: Higher Ed Junction
Budget Updates When budgets are released, OPB will quickly review and discuss with State Relations OPB will produce budget briefs and send these out to our standard lists We will also post to our blog and website: OPBlog: Higher Ed Junction opb.washington.edu Supplemental budget session, so we expect technical corrections, targeted investments (if any) and hopefully, a fast and furious race to sine die on March 13th
