Dear Valentyna Ivanivna,
I would like to thank you a lot for giving me an opportunity to learn English not by sitting in front of textbooks and occasionally listening to sound records! Thanks to you, I understood that an English lesson can be more than something you need to attend, while a teacher can be demanding without putting too much pressure on students. It's hard to imagine how much I would lose, were you not a teacher of mine!
Today I want to thank you for writing a research project for me in the seventh grade. I could barely read it back then; however, later in the tenth grade I had a complete understanding of all the requirements for such work.
Thanks for bringing variety into my school life, thanks for making me look forward to English lessons, thanks that I didn't have to sneak around hoping to correct something in a test or steal the tasks.
Thanks for smashing my stereotypes of a teacher character, and, finally, thanks for teaching me to understand the English language and express my thoughts fluently.
