Overall feeling or atmosphere of the piece For example, mood could be happy, sad, peaceful

3 Narrative Voice Describes how a story is presented to the reader
The unnamed “speaker” of a work can help create the tone This is not the voice of a literal character, but the narrative voice can have a personality of its own
