1 Georgia Studies Black History Project
Regardless of snow storms, field trips or other events, it is important to recognize that February is Black History Month. Georgia has a very rich history in terms of African American heritage. Several events, places and people have made a lasting impact on Georgia’s history. Below is a list of people directly from our course standards that we have or will learn about in this class. Your task is to create your own performance task that highlights the significance of the individuals below. Your performance task can be a children’s book, a calendar, a mural, a hanging mobile, or you can use Flip Snack or emaze to create your project. Austin Dabney Henry McNeal Turner W.E.B.
