2. Highlight of Current Activities
DECT New Generation
Offers a combination of telephony and data services, supports wide-band voice-over-ip and
provides internet connectivity.
DECT Ultra Low Energy (ULE)
Allows a battery life time of up to 10 years. The
first Technical Specification covering home control has been published.

3. Strategic Direction DECT based M2M communication
To further improve the DECT capabilities for the support of machine-to-machine communication in the home and to develop additional application profiles.
