Ways to create SPACE Overlapping or clustering
Linear (One Point) Perspective- everything going back to one point in an artwork or area of focus Atmospheric Perspective- the closer the object the darker it is. Vice Versa.

Atmospheric Perspective: placement of objects and size
Placement: Generally, objects that are positioned lower on the picture plane will appear closer than objects that are positioned higher on the picture plane. Size: Objects that are closer to a viewer appear larger than objects that are further off in the distance.

VALUE Is the lightness and/or darkness of a color.
A VALUE SCALE shows the range of light to dark used to measure value.

A TINT: the result of adding white to a color A SHADE: the result of adding black to a color. Highlights: created using tints (lighter parts of artworks) Shadows: created using shades (darker parts of artworks)

YES!! Remember: The closer the object, the darker it is.
The farther the object, the lighter it is.

FOR YOUR PROJECT You will be creating a landscape scene that shows your favorite season. You will use different objects to complete your landscape. You will have to show value and space. Here are some examples for you of WINTER.
