1 eProve Basics The eProve platform, which has replaced ASSIST for all continuous improvement work, opened August 1. Serves as a content library for districts and schools when reporting continuous improvement efforts

2 Perks of eProve Districts control all users.
Districts which have not established an administrative eProve user can do so by contacting Work is automatically saved. No concept of a submit button promotes continuous improvement Easily allows schools/districts to re-visit diagnostics and tasks throughout year

4 Timeline of Phases PHASE ONE: August 1 – October 1
Continuous Improvement Diagnostic PHASE TWO: October 1 – November 1 Needs Assessment Title I Annual Review School & District Safety Report School/District Equitable Access Diagnostic (open) PHASE THREE: November 1 – January 1 Development of Goals & Objectives Closing the Achievement Gap Plan Development of Strategies & Activities School/District Equitable Access (ongoing) Executive Summary PHASE FOUR: January 1 – June 1 Progress Monitoring

5 Phase I: August 1 – October 1
Actions within Phase I: Assembly of Data Review Teams Completion of KDE Continuous Improvement Diagnostic Key Questions: Who is involved? What are our current processes, practices and conditions?

6 Phase II: October 1 – November 1 (Assessing Need)
Actions with Phase II: Begin the Equitable Access Diagnostic Completion of the Title I Evaluation (if applicable) Completion of the School/District Safety Report Completion of the Needs Assessment Key Questions: What is our current state? (as revealed by multiple sources of data) What are our priorities and concerns? Which processes, practices or conditions can be addressed?

7 Phase III: November 1 – January 1 (Plotting the Course)
Actions with Phase III: Development of Executive Summary Development of Goals/Objectives Development of Strategies/Activities Development of Closing the Achievement Gap Plan (previously Oct.1) Completion of the Equitable Access Diagnostic Key Questions: How can we go from our current state to the desired state? How are we addressing critical needs specified in the Needs Assessment? Are strategies/activities aligned with needs?

8 Phase IV: January 1-End of the year (Progress Monitoring)
Actions with Phase IV: Allows schools to choose a flexible and customized approach to monitor and implement plan Day or Quarterly Monitoring is best practice Key Questions: How do we know if our strategies and activities are meeting the needs of learners? Will we adjust or stay the course?
