Why is this important to me?
Reading Have a Little Faith has shown me acts of kindness, repentance, and forgiveness of people through the eyes of Mitch Albom. The importance of this is due to people’s daily struggle with hatred, anger, and even jealousy. Everyone has a story; we are no one to judge. We should listen and not only learn from their life but grow from these stories. We should be thankful for what we have and embrace, encourage and guide others to do the same. We should accept all religions because in death, we all answer to “one” God. “Because we are all from one man – and all from that one God. That’s the message.” Rabbi Albert Lewis

“I agree” – Why? I agree. I believe that as human beings we ultimately desire to do good. Through these acts, we accept those around us with issues and our own issues. We want to improve ourselves and in turn improve the lives of those around us, some unselfishly and others to gain “a foot into heaven.” Having different views in religion doesn’t mean we don’t desire good for others; we just need to learn others’ views and accept that no one is perfect, just like Mitch Album did with the Rabbi and the Pastor.
